Alyson T. Landis, Esquire

Alyson is a Butler-based attorney dedicated to navigating clients through complex family law transitions. Her practice encompasses the full spectrum of domestic relations, ranging from high-stakes property division, divorce, and support matters to sensitive child custody and relocation disputes. A skilled draftsman and advocate, Alyson also handles prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, including challenging and enforcing the agreements. She also takes pride in legalizing lifelong bonds through stepparent and relative adoptions.

Alyson's Story

Alyson is a founding partner of Landis Paulisick. She was born and raised in Kutztown, Pennsylvania. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from the University of Pittsburgh in 2016 and her Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2019. While at Pitt Law, Alyson served as President of the Student Bar Association and was awarded the Student Leadership Award upon graduation.

Since her graduation from law school, Alyson has been an active member of local bar associations, most prominently the Butler County Bar Association where she serves on the Executive Board. She also serves as an Attorney Advisor to the Butler High School Mock Trial program. Alyson serves on the board for Center for Community Resources.

Alyson is also involved with the Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA). She was selected for a three-year term on the Editorial Committee, which is charged with overseeing the PBA's membership-wide publications. Alyson is involved in the Young Lawyer's Division (YLD). She was selected to be a member of the Bar Leadership Institute (BLI) 2020 - 2021 class. In 2025 she was appointed a Co-Chair of Zone 10 which represents Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Lawrence, and Mercer Counties. Beginning 2026, Alyson was appointed the Zone 10 YLD representative on the PBA's House of Delegates.

Alyson began her career in Butler in 2019 when she joined Boyer Paulisick & Eberle as an Associate Attorney. After a brief time in a family law firm in downtown Pittsburgh Alyson returned to the firm, then Boyer Paulisick Eberle & Biss in 2023.
